I play LBP with my son, he loves to make levels and have me play through them. Some of the community can get a bit weird but there are some gems in there.
Some of the survival bomb levels are really great fun to play with a couple other people. Of course, it might just be because I like watching things exploded.
I tried making my own levels, though they had major flaws. One of my levels I tried to create with a lack of light, and rely on only very small amounts of light sources to guide the players. I still like the concept, but I implemented some sections poorly, and its hard to get through without my guidance.
Thanks for your comments, I think LBP is a good game for Parents and Children to enjoy together, My daughter is very keen to make here own levels and she is only 8 years old :)
I understand it can be complex kettle11, it must be quite difficult to make a level to compare with the original ones that come with the game :)
Well, I think it appeals to a very wide audience. Me and my friends went straight from playing Call of Duty 4 to playing Little Big Planet today, and we still had a blast. Its an amazing game, and one of my all time favorites.
